Banner made and designed by peace activist Ian Campbell, late 1970s. Embroidered with the inscription 'A OES HEDDWCH / Is there peace'. The English inscription was later added by his wife, Thalia Campbell. The design was inspired by the estuary views he had seen as a lifeboat coxwain in Aberdyfi. The banner was used at eisteddfodau, rallies and public meetings. Thalia Campbell was a member of the Women for Life on Earth group who established the peace camp at Greenham in September 1981.
