Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, standing on an incised foot rim, rounded sides, flaring at rim; rim with basket weave moulding and perforated, scalloped outer edge; painted in the centre in pink lustre with a large chinoiserie style bird, probably a swan, floating on an expanse of water in front of two mountain peaks with foliage, boulders and fencing in the foreground; the basket weave moulding painted with sage-green, pink lustre edging to outer rim.
