Dish, meat
Meat dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain, 'duck egg' type with greenish translucency, slight green tinge to glaze; moulded and jiggered; oval foot rim with grit adhering, everted rim; centre painted in polychrome enamels with a lattice-woven basket, overflowing with garden flowers, prominent among them pink and purple roses, convolvulus, sunflower and pansies, on a background of earth, grass and flowering plants; cavetto with a border of scrolled and seeded gilding, extensively rubbed; rim painted with seven sprays of pink roses within a gilt dentil border.
