Standard Y-4 type cargo ship built 1943 by Lithgows, Port Glasgow (with triple-expansion steam engine by D. Rowan & Co), for Cape of Good Hope Motorship Co Ltd., Glasgow , managed by Lyle Shipping Co., Glasgow. She sailed in 63 convoys, plus various independent voyages during her 1943 – 45 war service. After the war, her funnel was replaced by a larger one. 1961 – Sold to Wing Tak Steamship Co., Hong Kong, and renamed WORLD PINK. 1962 – Transferred to a Panama registry. She was broken up at Kaohsiung in 1967.
