Two-handled cup and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, cup standing on a stepped foot rim, flared body, two ornamental scroll handles with shell thumb pieces; decorated in polychrome enamels, two sprays of iron-red flowers on branches on either side, gilding to handles. Saucer, standing on a stepped foot rim, spreading sides, slightly everted lip, raised cup step; decorated in polychrome enamels with three sprays of flowers on the sides, scattered single flowers, centre with two birds, brown line border to lip, gilt line border to cup step.
