Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Patchwork quilt made in about 1882 by Sian William (known as Fani Fach), Ponterwyd. She was possibly an itinerant quilter.
Top cover of large printed cotton squares and triangles arranged in a geometric design. Predominant colours are pink, brown, cream and green. Reverse of floral striped cotton. Quilting pattern consists of concentric circles in the centre of field with small circles, spirals and diamonds in borders.
