Figure of Sir Charles Napier, head detached, white earthenware with a blue tinted crackle glaze standing on an irregularly shaped oval plinth with a gilt line round, and with a narrow curving plinth on the flat upper part inscribed in gilt raised capitals. Figure in naval dress of black shoes, white trousers fastened under instep, black sword with a gilt handle and gilt tassels hanging from waist at left, high necked buttoned up underglaze blue jacket with gilt detailing, green/orange/white/black sash across chest from right shoulder and around waist, yellow epaulettes, grey hair. Standing with right leg slightly bent, right arm extended and holding black cocked hat with an orange lining against his right knee, left arm bent and resting on an unseen pillar draped in a pink robe with an orange lining. Small grey cannon beginning behind figure's right leg and facing outwards, supported by bricks and a number of grey cannon balls.
