Water dropper of highly polished white jade with grey-brown veining, in the form of a mythical beast on four squat legs with two scrolling tails; the beast holds a shallow dish for water in its teeth, from which an aperture leads to the inner cavity, the inside of the body hollowed out to form a container with circular opening, the interior unpolished, the cover of the container is in the form of a small, curled feline dragon, carved wooden stand.
