Coal-box
Coal box, tin-plate, rectangular form with high ribbed sides, standing on four claw feet, to either end of the body twin horizontal scroll handles with mask attachments, hinged cover also attached to the box by a chain; covered all over with a black japan, decorated with large bunches of painted flowers to the front of the box and the top of the cover, a border of gilt leaves around the edge of the cover, the feet and handles gilt.
