Small mug, wheel thrown, two turned grooves above foot, waisted body, groove under lip, ear shaped handle moulded with foliate thumbpiece and two secondary foliate scrolls, front of mug transfer-printed in black with a view of horses and carriages pulling up outside a castellated Victorian building. Inscribed underneath ROYAL VISIT TO PLACE HOUSE FOWEY SEPTR. 6. 1846.
