Bath mat
Rectangular turquoise cotton bathmat from the Butlin's holiday camp in Barry. Centre of mat decorated with 'Butlins' picked-out in white.
Obtained by Anne Watkins while working as a 'chalet girl' in the summer of 1974. She received a salary of £12 per week, including accommodation in a shared chalet, with toilets and bathrooms elsewhere in the block. Three cooked meals a day were also provided.
