Figure of the King of Sardinia on horseback, heavy white earthenware on an oval plinth inscribed in gilt capitals. In military uniform, black boots, white trousers, white jacket, rust coloured ? pistol holder, green and orange sash across chest and around waist from right shoulder, pink rosette on chest, naturalistically coloured face, black moustache narrow beard and hair, white cocked hat with a white feather. Figure has both hands resting on his right leg and is holding reins in right hand, and is seated astride a buff coloured horse, facing right, with black mane and tail, standing on green brown ground, rising under belly, with two clumps of extruded grass one by front foot, one by back.
