Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, oval, soft-paste porcelain with a buff translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into curved spreading sides; irregular lobed lip with two extended crenellated handles with shell moulding, groove moulded sides; painted with six flower sprays around the sides, each one containing a pink rose; gilt band to the lip ( worn ), and gilt detail to the shell moulding; ( poorly applied glaze, spotted with underglaze blue )
