Dish, dessert
Round dessert dish, soft-paste porcelain, 'duck egg' type with a pale greenish translucency, lustrous glaze with a slight grey-green tinge, irredescent around the enamels. Standing on a shallow foot rim, cruciform, moulded in four large and four small lobes, painted in the centre with a yellow peony-like flower amid grasses, decorated below the rim with a continuous band of hatched and shaded gilding, comprising fluted vases with conical covers alternating with arabesques, floriate scrolls and florets between two gilt lines.
