Teacup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, with a curvaceous ogee handle; saucer standing on a tapered foot rim, with rounded spreading sides; both transfer printed in black enamel, the cup with a landscape view of a cottage near a lake with a man in a sailboat, and hills and houses in the distance; the saucer with a view of a man walking along a road, leading through an arched ruin, near a river with a bridge in the distance; black cup and saucer lip, inner black line, and black enamel detail to handle.
