Ewer, soft-paste porcelain, short cylindrical foot-rim, pear-shaped body with wide spout and shaped lip-rim, double intertwined handle with foliate moulding to the lower terminal; the exterior body and handle covered with a bleu-celeste ground against which is reserved to the front of the body a panel left white and finely painted in polychrome enamels with a macaw and a pheasant amongst foliage, the panel enclosed by a gilt rococo border, a gilt floral garland to the body around the lower terminal of the habdle, a gilt line around the foot-rim, a gilt feathered edge to the spout, the handle picked out in gilt. The spout broken and repaired.
