Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a pale greenish translucency; standing on a foot rim curving into straight spreading sides; painted in the centre with Helios Apollo about to harness four horses, and gesturing to his right, with a pink length of robe swirling above his head; bordered by a plain gilt circular band; an elaborate, deep gilt border to the lip with trellis patterns, and c-scrolls enclosing cornucopia of various foliage.
