Toby jug
Pearlware toby jug, of seated eighteenth century gentleman painted in high temperature enamels. Black shoes, white stockings, yellow breeches, white waistcoat with blue buttons and piping, yellow necktie, brown jacket, flesh coloured face and hands, grey hair, black tricorn hat with removable crown, seated holding jug? of foaming ale on left knee, clay pipe propped up by right foot; white strap handle behind outlined in black and decorated with foliage spray.
