Answer book
Llyfr Ateb Amgeuddfa Werin Cymru, 1958, yn cynnwys nodiadau yn y Gymraeg gan John Williams Jones yn wreiddiol o Geio, Sir Gaerfyrddin ond yn son am ardal ei gartref yng nghyfnod yr holiadur sef Cellan, Llanbedr Pont Steffan tua 1914 ac atgofion o bobl yr ardal cyn 1914. Mae'r nodiadau hefyd yn olrhain hanes lladd tywarch (sef torri mawn) ym mhlwyf Cellan. Anfonwyd Llyfrau Ateb gan Amgueddfa Werin Cymru ym 1958 at unigolion ar draws Cymru er mwyn casglu a chofnodi gwybodaeth am agweddau o ddiwylliant gwerin yn eu hardaloedd yn cynnwys amaeth, crefftau, bwyd, arferion a thafodiaith. Mae’r ymatebion wedi eu hysgrifennu â llaw yn y llyfrau. Roedd y Llyfrau Ateb yn ddilyniant i’r holiaduron a anfonwyd ym 1937.
Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book, 1958 containing notes written in Welsh by John Williams Jones, originally from Ceio, Carmarthenshire but describing the area of Cellan, Lampeter. He includes information about peat cutting in the parish in around 1914 and also includes earlier memories of the parish from local inhabitants. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum in 1958 to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
