Tea urn, Sheffield plate, standing on a square base with four paw feet surmounted by paterae and tied acanthus leaves, the base surmounted by a columnar stem with everted lip and spreading foot; bulbous body rising to a concave upper section beneath an overhanging shelving shoulder with a spiral gadrooned rim rising again to a rounded gadrooned lip rim; stepped domed cover with urn shaped finial radiating acanthus leaves; twin horizontal handles, fluted, with acanthus leaf terminals and collared acanthus leaves to horizontal section; projecting horizontal tap and spigott with pivoting arched handle of scrolled acanthus leaves with turned ivory knop; ball shaped finial to T-bar of spout below handle; silver panel above spout; the interior with a slightly domed inner plate resting on flange, with two round finger/steam holes and central hole surmounted by a slightly domed small cover with a simple loop handle.
