Early Medieval ceramic crucible
Two fragments a crucible, one is a rim fragment with slight pouring lip and the other a wall fragment (with about a third of the rounded base profile). They are from an crucible that would have had a hemispherical bowl, the rim shape suggests a triangular form. The external surfaces sintered to purplish grey colour.
