Llewelyn, John Dillwyn
(Photographer)
Glass negative taken on stereo camera showing view of Hendrefoilan House. The house was built in 1853 by William B. Cooling for industrialist Lewis Llewelyn Dillwyn (brother to John Dillwyn Llewelyn) at that time M.P. for Swansea. Lewis Dillwyn's daughter Amy also lived here for many years until her father's death in 1892. In 1872, in her private diaries, Amy (1845-1935) referred to Olive Emma Talbot (1842-1894) as her wife.
