Early Medieval human remains
These are moderately preserved remains from the inhumation burial of an older middle adult (39-44 years) who was male.
The burial is from Phase C: 401-659 AD
He was buried in an extended supine position in a simple grave oriented West-East
His bones displayed evidence of Degenerative Joint Disease which is often caused wear and tear on the joints from heavy and repeated labour.
