Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy white translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim curving into cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; lobed lip; painted in the centre with two birds, - one with a black head and green body perched in a tree, the other with an orange head, yellow neck, blue breast and green body, perched on a fence, - and three insects above; six insects around the edge including a ladybird.
