Cup and saucer
Cabaret cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a pedestal base, with a deep ogee-curved bowl, and slightly flared collar rim; handle in the form of a winged monopodic cherub; saucer standing on a cylindrical and ridged foot rim, with ogee-curved sides; both finely painted with a frieze of wild flowers and strawberries in polychrome enamels, around collar a band of gilt seaweed, and on interior rim of cup and saucer, a border of gilt foliate scrolls and wreaths enclosing dark green enamel cinque-foils; plain gilt bands to foot rim, pedestal, collar, and lip, and gilt detailing to the handle.
