Sugar bowl with cover
Sugar bowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, depressed globular shape, vertical rim, curved spout, two rectangular handles raised on either side, footring, flat cover with flat button finial; the rims of the sugar bowl and cover are decorated with a gilt line border, the outer surface of the handles and the top of the finial are gilded, the cover is painted with rose sprigs against a blue ground, each side of the sugar bowl is reserved with a panel containing a painted landscape in sepia and green, outlined with borders of gilt ornament and framed by rose sprigs against a blue ground.
