Disc-shaped, slighlty misshapen lead spindle whorl with off-centre cylindrical perforation, no evidence for decoration.
Viking Age lead spindle whorl from Llanbedr-goch, Anglesey, north Wales. 850-950 CE. The same technology was used to spin wool for thousands of years.
