Built 1942 as EMPIRE LORENZO by William Gray & Co Ltd, West Hartlepool, for MoWT, managed by Dover Navigation Co. 1946 – Sold to Hogarth Shipping Co Ltd , and renamed BARON ELCHO, managed by H. Hogarth & Sons . 1955 – Sold to Compagnia Maritime Ircar SA, Liberia, and renamed KISMET II. She was wrecked later that year on Cape Breton and abandoned as a Total Constructive Loss.
