Sauce tureen and cover, oval, on flared foot with intergral stand of similar shape, applied with two handles with bifurcarted upper terminals; stepped coves, loop knob; no ground colour, blue-tinged pearlware glaze. Tureen painted in polychrome enamels with a sedgebird and a long-tailed titmouse; cover with a nightingale and a marten. Gilded rims.
