Tureen stand, creamware, oval shaped dish with plain, slightly bevelled rim and a wide tapering flange, the body with a cushion-moulded profile and a wide, deep well with a raised oval border in which the tureen would sit, and a rounded foot rim with a concave base; the glaze has a greenish tinge, the rim is hand-painted with a border of alternate beads and dots, and an inner frieze of stylised strawberry leaves, joined by a simple arcade, all in brown enamel.
