Dinorwig slate quarry, photograph
Black and white photograph showing a group of 52 quarrymen, taken at Ponc Swallow, Dinorwic Slate Quarries. The quarrymen are photographed with a board which reads 'SWALLOW 1927'. The photograph has been taken beside an incline roller hut. One of the quarrymen in the photograph is Mr Elias Griffith (donor's grandfather) who worked at Ponc Swallow (second row from bottom, far left). Also in the photograph is Mr Dic Griffith (Dic Pencraig) (donor's father), Mr Elias Griffith's son (bottom row, third from left)
