Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a foot rim, curving into flared spreading sides; painted with set pattern 223, - an Imari style pattern, with a large stylised pink flower in the centre encircled by red and gilt flowers with underglaze blue, gilt and green foliage, and a thin blue line; around the edge an underglaze blue, gilt and red arabesque shaped border, with pendent stylised iron red and pink flowers, with green and turquoise leaves; gilt lip.
