Cup, cabinet and saucer, miniature
Miniature cabinet cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, the cup with a pale green translucency, the saucer with a white creamy translucency; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim, waisted above, curving into a rounded bowl, with straight sides, flaring at lip; ( handle missing ); saucer on a straight sided foot rim, indented above, slightly curved spreading sides; cup painted with an octagonal cartouche on the front, of cut garden flowers lying on a pedestal, with a brown background; gilt foliate scrolls and tendrils on either side; gilt band to foot and lip; saucer painted with two similar cartouches, with gilt foliate scrolls and tendrils on either side; gilt band inside lip.
