A small postcard issued to Mrs Laura Jones, notifying her that her claim for a widow's pension had been received. Laura Jones' husband, Evan W. Jones, was involved in an accident at Dinorwig Quarry, and died at the Quarry Hospital on 1st December, 1924, leaving Laura Jones a widower, a therefore needing to claim a widows' pension.
