Jug, earthenware, octagonal inset base, octagonal pear-shaped body, raised beak spout with foliate moulding to its base, half the spout broken off, squared-shouldered wish-bone handle with three-lobed lower terminal; transfer-printed in flow blue with to the exterior sides, handle and interior lip-rim a continuous sheet pattern of stylized scrolling flower heads and foliage with interlacing stems, a bluish tinge to the glaze.
