Roman stone inscription (Aurelian)
From an imperial building inscription, together with fragments 89.199H/1 and 89.199H/2, recording the name of Emperor Aurelian on the first line, probably in the nominative, with the word for the building constructed or rebuilt on the second. The inscription originally consisted of two or more sandstone slabs, both sides of which had been smoothly dressed. The fragment had been reused in fourth-century paving.
