Cross carved stone, Margam
This 8th - 9th century cross and inscription was first noted before 1847 under the hedge between the turn pike road to Pyle, and the farm house of Cwrt Isaf. It was moved to Margam and then the Church by 1899. It is also known as the Pillar of St Thomas. It is now housed at the Margam Stones Museum. Amgueddfa Cymru has a cast of the stone in its collection.
