This 5th century inscription was recorded by William Camden, the famous Antiquary, in the late 17th century. In 1767 it was being used as a gatepost, but was then broken up. These three surviving fragments were removed to Dolaucothi House after 1855, which is where this photograph was taken. They are now at Carmarthen Museum. Amgueddfa Cymru have casts of these stones in its collection.
