This 6th to 9th century stone was first noted in the graveyard of the ruined chapel at Llanfihangel Croesfeini which was demolished in 1847. The stone was removed in 1856 to Trawsmawr farm where this photograph was taken. It is now at Carmarthen Museum. Amgueddfa Cymru has a cast of this stone in its collection.
