This image is of the 11th century Cross from Eglwys Nunydd, the nun's Church, belonging to Margam Abbey. The word 'Nunydd' is from 'Non', referring to St. Non, mother of St David. A Farmhouse was built from the ruins of the former nunnery in the area known as Eglwys Nunydd and can still be seen today. The Cross is now housed in Margam Stones Museum.
