Latin inscribed stone, St Cynog's Church, Defynnog
This 5th - early 6th century inscription, which may commemorate Brugniatius, son of Vendonius, had a later ring cross added to it in the 9th - 10th century. The stone was first noted in c.1853, built into the external wall face of the church tower, which is where it has been photographed.
