Roman inscribed building stone, Tretower

This building stone was found prior to 1851 where it was built into a wall near the north entrance of the orchard of Tretower Castle. It is now built into the north wall of Ty Llys Farm house near Tretower Castle. This photograph may have been taken in the former location. It records construction work by the century of Peregrinus.
