Shows re-run of a race between pilot cutters the ANITA (owned by Jonathan Lewis) of Cardiff and the J.N. KNAPP (captained by Capt. Davies) of Newport on 5th October 1875. The J.N. KNAPP won the original race but the ANITA won the re-run. The ANITA is shown in the foreground with the J.N. KANPP behind. The Cardiff umpire was Edward Payne who was on the paddle steamer shown at right.
