I have just found out that this pilot cutter ( The Marguerite) was first owned by my great grand uncle Frank Trott. I am still a novice genealogist and this discovery is so very exciting. Wonderful !

wonderful!! My grandfather, John Russell, owned the Bristol Channel cutter IOLANTHE, which I can find no trace of, but this picture shows me what she would have looked like at sea. Thank you.
