My husband's grandfather Alexander Stewart, was presented with one of these medals...having cleaned the medal, the maker's name of JR Gaunt & Son is visible on the 'Jubilee July 1914 ' side.
Does the National Museum have any further information about the company please?

I have one of these medals in what I believe to be the original box, inside the lid of which is written J R GAUNT & SON LTD,..., LONDON, who must have been the makers.
