ℹ️ About This Session

The session combines an engaging workshop with Nansi and a festive craft activity, allowing pupils to explore Christmas traditions from the past. 

The museum staff are flexible and will do their best to accommodate to learners ages and needs. Length of sessions can vary. Craft element is normally 1 hour.

School visits are available Tuesday – Friday, during opening hours. (Closed on Mondays)

Expressive Arts

  • Exploring the expressive arts is essential to developing artistic skills and knowledge and it enables learners to become curious and creative individuals.
  • Responding and reflecting, both as artist and audience, is a fundamental part of learning in the expressive arts.

Enquiry, exploration and investigation inspire curiosity about learners’ local community, Wales and the world, its past, present and future.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the concepts underpinning humanities, and their application in local, national and global contexts.
  • Cynefin: Encourage opportunities for learners to discover the woollen industry and be inspired to investigate more about their own community and beyond.
  • Encourage enquiry and discovery.
  • Opportunities to be curious, question, think critically and reflect upon evidence.
  • Stimulate new and creative thinking.
