Amgueddfa Cymru - Museum Wales today released tickets for the world-renowned exhibition Wildlife Photographer of the Year at National Museum Cardiff. The exhibition which is on loan from the Natural History Museum in London, opens in Cardiff on Friday 27 May 2022.

Featuring exceptional images which capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breathtaking diversity of the natural world, Wildlife Photographer of the Year is returning to National Museum Cardiff for the sixth time.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the most prestigious photography event of its kind, providing a global platform that showcases the natural world’s most astonishing and challenging sights for over 55 years. The exhibition at National Museum Cardiff is generously supported by the Wales Rail Travel Supporter, Great Western Railways and is the only museum in the UK outside of London to display 100 spectacular backlit photographs.

Eleri Lynn, Head of Exhibitions & International Touring for Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales said, “We’re looking forward to welcoming Wildlife Photographer of the Year back to National Museum Cardiff. The exhibition promises to be a thought-provoking experience for all our visitors. The stunning photographs will inspire us all to look at the wonder of the natural world, but it will also make us think about the cause and effect of climate change.”
