Come along to our camp to find out why fire was so important to the Romans. We’ll have the sounds and smells of the camp to bring it to life.
Find out about the ancient art of blacksmithing, as well as coin striking and coinage in the Roman world.
Make some Roman style bread and cook it over an open fire or try to start a fire yourself using a bow drill.
Meet our soldiers in camp as well – maybe have a go at gambling with Gaius - and take a selfie wearing replica Roman armour!
