Join us for the launch of Black History Wales celebrations at St Fagans. This year’s theme is Young People, the Time is Now! 

We'll be celebrating the history, culture and contributions of people of Black-African and African Caribbean heritage, through music, performances and art. 

There will also be a Black History Wales marketplace produce for sale and food tasting from African and Caribbean pop-up stalls.  

All are welcome.

Opening Hours

10am – 5pm daily (open Bank Holiday Mondays)

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to conduct bag searches when entering the museum.

Admission is free, however a charge may apply for some exhibitions, events and activities.

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. £30 yearly ticket in advance. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
