Event:Audio Described Tour at St Fagans National Museum of History

St Fagans National Museum of History

The Archaeology of the Mabinogion through Llys Llewellyn Medieval Court into Bryn Eryr Iron Age Village | 12/02/2026, 11:00am

D10/10/2024 11:00

Join us at St Fagans to explore the real objects and spaces that inspired the bardic epics of Wales.

We will get hands on with real archaeological artefacts to rebuild the mythical world of King Arthur, monsters and magic. Through the lens of archaeology, we will explore the question: do our ancient legends belong to the Medieval Bards of Llys Llewellyn or to the prehistoric realm of Bryn Eryr Iron Age Village?

This free tour for blind and visually impaired visitors will explore the St Fagans Collections in the Galleries and across the open-air museum through audio description.

Additional Information:

  • This tour will be Bilingual.
  • Age suitability: 18+
  • The session will last for approximately 2 hours.
