Join us at St Fagans for a morning of seasonal Welsh stories and traditions linked to winter, Christmas, the end of the old year and the coming of the new year.  

Explore the museums’ collections through our handling objects as we explore iconic Welsh traditions linked to this special time of the year.  

This free tour for blind and visually impaired visitors will explore the St Fagans Collections in the Galleries and across the open-air museum through audio description.

1 ticket entitles you to bring an accompanying companion.

Please let us know if you intend to do so, or to bring a guide dog or would like a museum guide provided.

Opening Hours

Winter Opening Hours

From Wednesday 29 October until Friday 13 February 2026, we will be open 10am-4pm every day.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to conduct bag searches when entering the museum.

Admission is free, however a charge may apply for some exhibitions, events and activities.

Parking

If you are driving to St Fagans, you will have to pay for parking. The cost is £7 per day and can be paid by cash or card. FREE for disabled badge holders and motorbikes. 12 month season ticket available for £45. This charge is for parking only – entry to the Museum remains free.

Eat, drink, shop

  • Our cafes and restaurant will be open during your visit. 
  • The Museum shop will be open during your visit.
  • You are welcome to bring a picnic to the Museum.
